Being in Avaition most of my time was aboard Naval Air Stations with one tour aboard USS Tripoli, LPH-10. Lived close to Seebee base and MavMag while in Guam [1973-1976]and near Port Hueneme [Seebee training base] in 1991-1993. Departed home in 1969, retired in 1989, arrived 'back' home in 1992.

Don't mind at all--born in 1949.

I should have read the second new post first!

I'd like to go to the swap, even just to get the 250 up to full temperature. It only goes 10 miles each way everyday. I've got some Model A motors and misc. stuff I could bring to trade for I-6 300 dist., carb, u-joints, carrier, oil bath air cleaner, hub caps, but I don't plan on getting a swap space.

Murph77 will probably want to go too, but his computer is totaled after hitting the drywall at frustrating speed.

Great to see some action here!

Oh, wait, there's a swap at Kane County the same day but it's mostly early stuff, better chance for newer stuff at skip's, now I'm torn between the two, I'll post when I figure out what Murph 77 and/or my girlfriend, etc.

 

I will be looking forward into this and be seeing if I can get the day off at work. If all ends well I will be seeing you all there. I got a quicker fixer upper 93 Flareside.. haha I hope to see all you and all your future events! Im hoping my friend Skullcash (Matt Renz) will be joining this event aswell.

'49 Ford F-3 to F-1 just bought the truck a few weeks ago. Gonna lower it and get rid of that 95 HP engine! Ulimately a Ford engine belongs in a Ford, no room in there for chevrolet. Thats my opinion and its always subject to change because I thrive on opportunity. something like that

 

Is anybody here from around Ashland? I went to school there from kindergarden to third grade I was surprised to find the house we used to live in on google earth. We also used to live in Springfield and Salem and I was born in St Elmo. I live in Laveen Az now with my wife and a bunch of goats, and dogs and sheep and cats and....
