Paul here. I'm from Clarendon Hills, IL and I am currently a student at Lake Forest College. I got my truck this past summer working as an electrician's assistant for my uncle near Purdue. Built originally with a 302, my '80 stepside was swapped to a 351m out of a '78 LTD at some unknown point.
Hey Y'all! I'm Charlie AKA The WhichDoctah in Glenwood IL. I'm a Site Tech 2 and Union Steward at the ONLY State Park in Chicago. I'm also in school to eventually get my degree in Environmental Biology/Conservation Management. Bought the truck (haven't decided on a name yet) on "Black Friday", dropped the title somewhere and went nuts for two weeks because the guy I bought it from never registered it...found it in my DD the week before Christmas!!! Now I've checked and he wasn't lying, it has a transplanted 351W in it to a C4 trans. It's a 1978 F150 Ranger Explorer 2WD Auto and has lots of issues. So I guess I'll be asking you guys for help constantly and putting up threads on how I'm fixin' stuff or making things worse. Thanks in advance guys and gals out there!!! everybody pray for no road salt!!!
Hello, Max here from Ottawa, IL.
I decided to pick this up after using a friend of mine to haul a 26' enclosed a few hundred miles. The room in his truck and ease of that tow helped me decide what I wanted.

Hi all. Joined the group today. Live right outside Pekin, IL. Just purchased Ford truck #4 in October. It's a leftover 2016 F-250 Lariat CCSB 6.2L 4x4. Looking forward to doing some customizing when the weather improves.

Welcome to the site. You on the Powerton side or the Creve Coeur side?
The 1979 F150 is my daily driver. My wife named it "Big Sexy". Going to redo the interior in a couple of weeks. New carpeting, bucket seats and center console. Love those dentsides!
The 2016 F150 is my wifes daily driver. Its name is "Larry".
