New Illinois Roll Call!!!

Hey there, I'm Rob from Gurnee, here in Lake County. I drive a 2000 Ranger XLT 4DR Super Cab Flareside 4x4 as my daily ride, and I just picked up a '92 F250 XLT 2WD that was shortened for a 6 ft box. The bed is a wooden floor, drop gate Flareside from an earlier F150. The Ranger is powered by an FFV 3.0 V6 and the F250 by a 7.3 IDI International diesel.
Although these are my first Ford trucks, I've been a big Blue Oval fan for decades. I owned a few classic Mustangs, before they were classics, and my first Ford was a '62 Thunderbird. Prior to my trucks, my last Ford was a modded Focus ZX3.
Cars have been a part of my life, ever since I realized that our two sports cars were different than the family cars of our neighbors.
I'm hoping on getting to know everyone here much better.

Hey Rob!
A good place to meet people with the same likes is the Monthly BS and Chat thread for Illinois.

Hello Illinois Chapter,
I was just lurking tonight, and discovered the regional area chapters, and decided to register!
I have been a Ford fan since my first truck, a 1987 F150 Lariat, that was two tone red/white.
I now own 2004 Excursion, and a 2002 Thunderbird.
Thanks for your time, back to lurking

August of 2013, Illinois had a G2G in Rantoul. Two members plus myself showed up, Ron from Rantoul and Georgia from Havana. Where were all of those members from Champaign?

I thought I saw that through a previous search. At the reindeer ranch right? I don't know how many pay attention to this forum, I'm guilty myself. Plus, I often vacation in August, and was truck free in 2013. That's my excuse.
