good morning all!
at home this morning waiting on the DishNetwork guy to show up to hook up my HDTV!!! (just in time for the 3rd week of NCAA football and 2nd week of NFL action! Not to mention the Chase for the Nextel Cup!

I learned a lot yesterday.
Gary doesn't like *******. (Unless they're on his sister...)

well i better get some stuff done around the house while i have peace and quiet time... need to mow.. finish drywalling the basement.. ugh.. maybe i should just be at work... sounds better.

Hey Dallas, is that satellite the one that offers "the Sunday Ticket" where you can pick any NFL game? That's the one I want to get... not sure how I'll get that past the wife though. But, once I get my new tv, I have to be able to watch football on it, and not some dumb team like the Chiefs or Vikings.

Years ago, there was an old tale in the Marine Corps about a lieutenant who inspected his Marines and told the 'Gunny' that they smelled bad.
The lieutenant suggested that they change their underwear.
The Gunny responded, 'Aye, aye, sir, I'll see to it immediately.'
He went into the tent and said, 'The lieutenant thinks you guys smell bad, and wants you to change your underwear. Smith, you change with Jones, McCarthy, you change with Witkowski, Brown, you change with Shultz. Get to it.'
The moral of the story : A candidate may promise change in Washington but don't count on things smelling any better.
