Hey Steve, Congrats man!!!

I like that green, my old F100 was that color but I've always liked the dark jade green on my uncles '77 F150

Thanks guys.

Her name is Katelyn Sarah and she's a handful! She's also why I've been building the crew cab. Gotta have room for a family!

Life is entertaining now for sure with her around!!

And oddfordjunkie - I can very vividly remember being in your shoes as it wasn't long ago. She'll get here before you know it and grow like a weed with time just flying by. Enjoy her being tiny while you can!

Oh and Krewat - did you mean my thread is linked to from other sites/ forums? I know I've personally done that on a few outside forums. Didn't even know you guys could tell that.

Congratulations! Enjoy it the time it really does fly. She will have you wrapped around her finger before too long, the issue comes when she knows you're a sucker for her!

Also good foresight on the crew cab.

Been dead for a loooong time, so checking in to surprise the subscribers with some pics...

So here's a couple of nothing pics to show the nothing I've gotten done!

Welded up my fuel straps about a month & a half ago. Still heven't gotten to putting them on

I always seem to find one more thing I need to do before I can do the step I'm on. Bumper brackets & trailer wiring/plug killed these going on...

Currently I'm messing a bit with my AMP steps so I can get back to mocking up my exhaust.

Pics of that here:

Holy crap, I'm proud of you for just looking at that poor neglected truck.

Keep it up bud. One piece at a time and she'll be a driver. Trust me you'll love it when shes done. Mine pulls like a freight train.

I have to look at her every day Steve - that's what makes it so tough! I walk by & think to myself "I'm gonna make 1/2 an hour tonight and do ____"

Problem is that 1/2 hour hardly ever seems to appear. I have gotten to where I actually get a little something done about once a month vs. once every 6 months though!

And Brandon - watching your videos almost makes me sick with jealousy! I can tell she pulls like crazy & I want mine to get to that point already!!

Progress!

Sometimes an inch is a mile.

I've been running around and working insane hours trying to keep the bills paid and I think our kids are the same age (5.5 months). I haven't even seen my crew cab in 2 months as I've been using one of my dads little commuters, so even if your truck feels neglected I'm sure mine now has abandonment issues.

It will all happen in due time.

Keep your chin up! Family life slows down the garage time-it's just a fact of life. I am sneaking up on year 7 of working on my Dodge. Sometimes I get a couple hours; most of the time I get none. That's just how it goes.

Nice work! and Yeah I'm in the same boat with many of us here, I walk past my pickup every day and think maybe this weekend... Then I hop in to the commuter minivan I've succumb to driving back to work.

I promise ya, I will get that template to ya, hopefully soon, I gave it to another buddy, so that he could copy it for himself. So as soon as he is done. I will send it off for you to do the same. :-)

Approaching? This trucks 7th "torn apart" b-day slipped by earlier this month with little notice from anyone but me.

Thanks Dave. I'm in no rush obviously as I have no clue how soon I'd get to doing anything with it!
