Countdown to H2E and Valair clutch, Any suggestions or thoughts?

As the title says I am installing the H2E kit this weekend and a full ferramic clutch from Valair.

I have the 6.ooh cooler installed and the tubes that came with the kit fit nicely. I also have the Dieselsite boot kits that fit my application. Darn are they expensive!

I have a resurfaced SMF Flywheel (thanx fishmandotcom) waiting also. Do the DMF and SMF flywheel bolts interchange? I would think so.

I have new uppipe donut gaskets (yeah no bellows). I also have a new clutch fork from Ford. I am going to reuse the slave cylinder since it is not that old. If it is bad I can grab one pretty quick.

Any suggestions?
What am I forgetting?
I am just trying to think out loud so give me what you think I may have over looked.

I really appreciate it guys.

Yup Farm I will be glad to do it. Just bring it down here. You will have to wait till I get my shop though but I will be glad.

Another question: What size are the fuel lines on the back/bottom of the fuel bowl? I am pretty sure 3/8" but can't remember.

Neal it looks like you have everything under control. The only thing I can think of is you might need more time! Those sounds like two big project to tackle in a weekend in a campground.

The fuel supply hoses are 3/8 and the return is 5/16

I am going to my brothers shop. This one I can't pull off in the campground. LOL I also have a day or two deoending on what I need next week. I hope to be done Monday.

RE: the hoses, IIRC the return is not needed to be a heat resistant hose is it?

Good on the shop! The hose that I use is pretty standard rated hose and is good to 400 degree's or so. Most diesel rated/pressure rated hose will be fine.

Yeah.. it took me most of the day to get the old turbo off... I think a weekend would be pushing it.

I am hoping that with the tranny off the turbo will go a bit faster.

Ahh.. you don't need to take the tranny off!

The h2e kit uses the factory up pipes right?

You just need to find a person that has long skinny arms to reach the back right pedestal bolt. At least that what I did.

You're doing the aluminum intakes at the same time too right? You'll probably have to modify and relocate the bracket for the GPR.

That would be easy... Hopefully the 3 inchers fit because I have to do them aswell.

I thought the h2e kit just used a different collector? Not the actual upipes?
