Hydrogen converstion problems

My friend is hooking up a hydrogen cell to his 98 1.8L primz for a class project. He hooked it up to the PVC vavle and drove it 8 miles and had no problem until he came to a stop. All of sudden the check engine light came it and oil light came on and it started to spudder. He went to take off to get home and he seen a big cloud of smoke or steam. What would cause this? Too much hydrogen gettin burn when he came to a idle or what?
what do you guys think?

We think you friend slept through science and physics.

There are forums that deal specifically and enthusiastically with this garbage, this isn't one of them.

It may have sucked in the water/electrolyte mix if the container is able to be squeezed.

I had the same thing happen on my escort I tried this crap on. If you value or need the vehicle you are using this on, remove it now. HHO is a farce.

I would not hook it up through vaccuum. It is probably pulling in a lot of excess moisture with the strong vaccuum off of the PVC. Try routing the HHO tubing so that it enters the air intake just in before the throttle body.

How come that everyone else is getting great, or at the very least measurable improvements, and now you're saying it's worthless?

Maybe they didn't have the ***** to admit to falling this scam?

alternative fuel systems

[quote=Iversen-fords;6527259] i'ev been using the HHO system in my truck for 2 1/2 years, your friend will find he should have fed the hho directly into the air intake, mine is connected to the air intake side of my turbo, sever thousands of miles, NO, problems. results very good in milage.

reply to connecting HHO to a pvc valve, the correct way to inject hydrogen gas produced by a hydrogen system is to feed it directly into the air intake side so it is distrubeted to all chamber along with the fuel injection, i've been doing this for 2 1/2 years with very good results.

[quote=Dean88;6528159 you may be correct, the way i avoid that problem i have found is to make a moisture collector (water vapors) transfered from the hho production unit, put in the line, traping moisture before it reaches the air intake, ( production unit----vapor trap---air intake) it't simple to make and easy to install.

alternative fuel systems

this is a message to monkeywrench, you are totally correct, if you don't prove something using science to most, it is bs, do i want to get rich"NO" do i want to sell my ideas to the public "NO" , any one can buy HHO kits on the net, lots of them for sale but the companys selling them don't tell be buyer all the truth about HHO systems, and most of the systems i agree are total bs! and i don't do bs.when and if my system is 100% complete i'll take your advice and prove it. untill thin, with GOD'S help i'll just keep improving on what i'v got so far, i'ev spent about $8,000 + and i'm almost 69 years old but i never give up on something worth doing. as for getting rich, at my age getting rich equates to helping other people and those that relly do need help, visited the gas or fuel pump lately? science comes in many forms. to guys still trying rember this "quiters never win and winners never quit".
