Remove the electric shift motor from the back of the t-case and give it a good cleaning.

This may sound like a dumb question, but is this just when you shift into 4-high or 4-low? If 4-low are you putting the truck in neutral before shifting into 4-low?

Need to check to see if the motor gets power when you select 4x4. Use a voltmeter or test light.

Olso forgot to add that when i switch to 4 wheel drive the motor moves back and forth,it doesnt move enough to engage the 4 wheel drive,so yeah the motor is moving but still won't go into 4 wheel drive.

What did they get you for the motor? Between cleaning up from IKE and cutting firewood, I've been pressed for time. I'm keeping you in mind,,, case I need it.
