Road diesel drops to $1.208!
Thanks to the Flying J people at 3850 Idylwylde Drive North and 855 52 St. & Millar Ave., Just wish it was on this side of Saskatoon.
Finally and about time this happened. I`m out in my bulk tanks and waiting to fill up.
Let`s hope it drops more, with the much lower current world oil price I`m thinking it should be around the $1.10 mark if not lower...........

I have this feeling that baring any hurricane activity or any other related events that diesel should drop even some more......
If it wasn`t for the Flying J the Husky would be the highest diesel price in town, like before the Flying J came in......
I`ll never buy from Husky because they always kept the diesel prices up over anyone else. I`m all for the Flying J as I think that they`re the first ones to ever, thru competiton, bring the price of diesel down in Saskatoon!

I agree with you there about Shell bringing in some competition, however for me I will buy whichever is cheapest since they are so close to each other.
Heres something kinda interesting Ive noticed. My truck seems to do the best on fuel, when I purchase fuel from the flying j from edmonton, or the husky from saskatoon. The flying j in saskatoon, and the husky in edmonton SEEM to drop my mpg by 2-3 on the highway.

Absolutly zero difference that I can tell on power and performance.
Odd though hey. I keep track of my mileage pretty well too, and I swear it works like that every time.
I really do love going to the flying J over the husky in saskatoon and edmonton. They make the flying J so damn nice! Plus with gas (not sure with diesel) you can actually get a little bit of money off so it equals less per liter then advertised on the pump.

Ill have to recheck a diesel receipt, now ya got me thinking...
