No...I have not checked the voltage to the slide. It doesn't seem to matter if I am on battery or A/C. I have an extreme edition so there is a cardboard type batting that I have to take down before I can get to the motor.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't just doesn't do anything?
When you push on it does it starts going in do you have to keep pushing on it or does it go by its self or no?

When I push on the switch to retract it, sometime it is dead(nothing). When we push it starts slow and sometimes picks up to normal speed, other times it just stays crawling.

Doug I'd have to say either the switch or the motor is taking a dump, and if does it on plugged in or not I'd have to say its the motor.
If you take down that cardboard looking stuff watch out, there is fiberglass insulation under there a long with some stuff the squirrels probably
brought in.
Haven't seen one that didn't happen with and that isn't really cardboard its plastic.
If you go through taking that board down make sure everything is well lubed under there too.
Oh, check the wiper seal underneath also, sometimes that gets twisted on the bottom of the slide itself.
