I agree, I only regen every 400-500 miles I think and even then with the latest updates to pcm you should not even notice it. I have 2600 miles on my truck now as tips as as clean as when I bought it.

 

Guys, I just purchased a Job1 08 250 lariat and its about a month old, has about 1200 miles on it and have only seen one regen and that's when I put it in the garage after driveing home from work. Idle went to ~1200 rpms for about 1 min and then stopped. I had no indication and the regen happened in park which led me to beleive I don't have the latest flash. I'm getting ~12.2mpg back and forth to work 8 miles half 30 mph and the other 50. So I'm getting a good mix. I'll be taking it upnorth next week hunting and will see how the highway miles are. My question is should I get the latest flash? I've been hearing good and bad. I quess things are good and I love my truck at present. Should I leave well enough alone or get the update. My gut tells me to leave it alone. What do you with the latest update suggest. By the way that was the only regen I noticed to date.

leave it along..sounds to me like it has been updated already. do you get the warp speed on cruise control resume? If it does that then you don't have the lastest flash.
