Maybe we should do a PM campaign like I was thinking.

In the FTE General Automotive forum we have an Antique and Classic Truck contest going inro it's last month out of the three months it runs - and we have been looking for more entries, because we know well that there are a lot of truly fine trucks out there, wether they are all the way restored or not.
To do this, what we thought of is to PM this note to three people we know at FTE asking them to PM it onward to three more FTE Buddies. Like a chain letter, it should grow exponentially once it starts (I was curious to see what happened then anyhow).
You should check it out anyway, since there are some drop-dead gorgeous trucks already featured in it...
That oughta do it, any questions?
PS: I may get sliced, diced, or even banned for this idea but I see no other options if the contests are going to be any good. You can't be part of something you never even knew about.
72 F250 passing itself off as a 69, with F100 badges. Brand new 360, disk brake swap, power steering swap, and a tow strap. Why? Because the rear u-joint went and took the driveshaft and yoke with it. It'll be parked a while.
Next:
72 F100 4x4, running 352 for the time being, front clip from my 69 F250 that isn't bolt on yet, D44HD high pinion front, D60 rear, Nissan power steering. Maybe in a year or so it'll come off that trailer and I'll be able to work on it again.
The last victim:
81 Courier, parked due to blown rear diff. It pushed the cross pin out until it hit the pinion, at which time it pushed back hard enough to crack one of the carrier bearing caps. It'll be back on the road next week sometime.

You know what you do about that? (Courier)
Bag a 4.10 limited slip rear out of an Explorer. It will be 2" wider than stock and need to have the saddles flipped with a grinder and a wire feed.
-Wider rear spread and it won't "PEGLEG"
* Couriers and Rangers share the same wheel spacing. You can drop a courier cab and bed on a later Ranger - NOBODY WILL EXPECT IT!!!!
