NOOOOO, 41 I was not suggesting that. I think your truck is a great example of a rehab antique. but it had other issues I saw.
your rig is a great example of fixing a truck.
I think G.W. has it in him to do one more category this yr.....Tribute Trucks!!!!
That's above a really good rehab.

I just hope everyone enjoys the truck for what it is, a sweet little ride that may mean a little something different to all who see her.

Thanks for the opportunity.

There was a suggestion direct from IB Adrian to do a "best of the best" final contest to recap what we've seen so far. I'm still puzzling over how to do that...

Guys,

Just to clarify, I feel it's unfair strictly due to the back story surrounding our '41, Cancer is one of those things that invokes a lot of emotions in people, and I've worked hard with my wife to not "let the disease define us." There are a lot of gorgeous trucks already entered here, and hopefully several more to come.

Since I'm already a multi-year site member, I decided that it would be best to pull out so everyone feels freer to bring their equally charming and well deserving trucks to this contest. I like seeing the quality rides too, and every single truck here has it's own very special story I'm sure !

We all love our rides, I even TALK to mine, and they both have names, the '41 is 'Rose', and the '34 is 'Iris', I've told Rose she needs to be thankful to her big sister Iris for allowing me the time and focus to complete her this year. Our vehicle names come from my wife's mother''s and my mother's favorite flowers.

So good luck to all, I look forward to seeing all the great rides.

Fasten your seatbelts - "ROSE" is going to have a thread of her own, and keep an eye on what's happening with the Ride of the Week on the FTE home page.

A little birdie told me these things...

I meant no harm.... I didn't mean for 41 to withdrawal nor did I suggest any other truck wasn't worthy. I just globed onto "Rose".
I appreciate all of the rides in this contest but....I'm partial to 1. Sorry if I F'd up the category.

Not at all. I think we all see that "Rose" is something above and beyond this contest - it deserves a full page article and it's own headline above it!

FIRST....Thank You for your VERY kind words!

So hurry up, I love them OLDER trucks !!

Just a thought....perhaps 'image size' is the issue ???? dunno if the forum postings allow same image sizes as the gallery ??
