OK, so you guys know I am pretty new to this diesel thing. I am learning more every day but I think I might have a problem, large or small I don't know.
I went to pick up my wife at work this evening, and was sitting outside with the engine idling. I thought that I smelled something, but thought that it was just because I was in-between two buildings. When she arrived, I started across the parking lot and noticed smoke. A lot of smoke. A large amount of WHITE smoke coming from my tail pipe.
Now I had just put fuel in a little while before, so I ran the s**T out of it on the way home and parked it. I had to come back to work for a while and it does not seem to be smoking now, though as windy as it it here I doubt if I would be able to see it.
Any help would be great.

Just keep a eye on it, Some white smoke is normal. If it keeps up check fuel and air filters, change diesel brands.
Whan was the last oil change? Do you run Diesel Clean?

I had been running B20 [bio diesel]. But since it is still at 4.65 a gallon here in town, I have switched back to petro. I'll try running Diesel Clean. I'm at about 3100 miles since my last oil, filter, lube appointment, so I'll get that done and see what happens.
Steve I think the fact that I was low on fuel and parked at an angle [front lower than the rear] allowed a little air in the line. But if anybody can kill a 7.3, it'll be me. I once high centered a military Hummer.
