I thought of this after my last reply but what happens to every body in Wyoming on the weekends? BigKen you are the first to grace this thread today. I will bet you a hundred dollars come winter when the snow is aaaaah, quite deep, I think there will be more chatter then on the weekends.

Hey Orin...we're just waiting for Hanna to bless us with some rain...supposed to get 3+ inches. More to the south and east of us...I understand that on Cape Cod they are sandbagging.

Traffic on FTE is generally slower on weekends and during good weather. I think it's just folks pretending to have a life!!! Traffic will definitely pick up during the cold months.

I like that, pretending to have a life, some times it makes you wonder.

Gustav helped us out quite a bit I think. It has been wet here also.
Usually any thing that comes up the Gulf we get matching rough weather about 3-5 days later on the average. I remember some really good snow storms that have graced us after such a deal.

I hope all this weather does not give you much grief.

Not a good day at the track!!! #@^*&!!!

Blew up my engine at the track today. I'm guessing $15,000 in damage. Here's a link to the in-cab video.

hey fellas. today i helped finished the new shingles on our guest house, fixed two windows on my dads rental house, checked out a mercury comet that a buddy just bought, looked at dragging home a rambler that we bought, watched the cowboys game on tv, loaded the race truck, had a birthday party for my dad, played with my neice, and now I am hitting the sack.

My turn for bad luck I guess. It might take a while to get it back together as I just broke ground for my new Barn/Shop. That will eat all my money for now. When I do bring her back to life she will be a little more agressive. I'm thinking a shiny new 8-71 and 900 or so HP. On pump-gas. Although the bottle didn't have anything to do with this catastrophe, I have always been worried that it might someday. So I won't be using it anymore after this.

Good Morning to all, looks like a cloudy cruddy day today, will try to get more iron together today unless I get rained out.
I' ll add my sorry to see that happen Scouder, when I watched the video it reminded of a 352 I blew up years back, nothing quite like that sick feeling in the bottom of your stomach when you discover that you cant even save the distributer out of it.

Hey all, just popping in for a sec, gotta get my little girls b-day presents wrapped while she's at the store with her mom!

Scouder, that sucks about your truck! Hopefully it didn't do to much internal damage. I did enjoy watching the other videos you have, though! Have a good day all!

got the new carb back on it after sending in to georgia to get fixed. first tun on a 70 degree track with 50 ambient air we ran a 11.86 at 113 mph. It was smoking like a diesel so we jetted down from 90's to 86's and the plugs are still black and it ran a 12.08, 12.08 and a 12.02. With a motor that big, moving that much air and that little fuel, the plugs should have been white with 86 jets. I am starting to think that there is a reason the carb was for sale on ebay.
