New Taurus X

Well, with our third child on the way, my wife and I decided we needed a little more room than what our Honda Accord had. I gave the wife free rein to get whatever she wanted with me handing the numbers talking and she picked an all black Taurus X with the third row seats. It's a nice car and my second ever Ford (her first). Maybe I should change my signature...

My brother has a TaurusX (formerly the Freestyle from what I see) for a company car. Over all it seems pretty well thought out. I really like the way the seats configure. The only problems I see is the poor body panel fit and poor sheet metal quality. Especially around the rear windows.

Comfortable and good MPGs for what it is and how he drives. Lots of room for his two, very, little ones and two dogs.

hornet41 is starting off with a positive reputation.
We went from a Lincoln Town Car to the Taurus X and have never looked back!! We had the land yacht, a '96 with a trunk you could put a cord of wood in!!!!!!!!! Since Lincoln "downsized" the body, we wanted room. The Lincoln had spoiled us in that regard.
The Taurus has the room, in spades! We have has 6 adults in the thing and everyone was comfortable! Fold the back seats down and you have as much space as the bed of a small pick up. To my surprise on the highway it handles better that the Lincoln. Consistantly gets 24-25 MPG highway and 22 in town.
Whats not to like????? you won't be disappointed!!!
