Immatriculation in France is a nightmare now, a F-350 is in "heavy trucks" category; and french administration is obstructive against these cars; for exemple I dream for a Chevy 20 or 30, the 20 is in the "gap" for immatriculation as a car and all is OK, but administration refuse registration... after you have paid custom taxes, V.A.T. and so on!!!! I have a second hand Aerostar, previously imported by his owner from N.Y when he return for retirement in France; he had to present the car three time at the "service des Mines" before agreement; the last time he lost control because the engineer said: "Oh!!! but your glasses are not legal in France (mirror black). He wanted to kill him.
In three years time i started 3 procedures to get my Truck registered, and the first time they said; sell this one, and get one that suits you better...
just if i'm not mature enough to decide that for myself
hi all from france.
it's impossible to register a f350 in france except in truck so you must have truck licence to drive it.
"homologation poids lourd pas possible autrement"
good day.
