It's a quick turn around trip for me. I get up about midnight which gets me in the field a little before sunrise, including a stop in Coachella for breakfast.

That's if I go. I'm about half thinking of not going. It's raining there right now.

 

Raining in Yuma off and on as well - I'm not going to let it stop me, though.

I'd rather know that the shooting wasn't too good than wonder.

 

It seems impossible to predict the hunt quality for Doves. Some years it storms down there and I figure it will be a waste of time, and it turns out great. Other times, great hot weather and few birds.

If I stay home it will be great hunting - just par for that particular course.
