Those were new Nitto Terra Graplers. 285/65 18 on stock rims.

I just had them rotated and balanced yesterday, good tread left at 45k miles.

that's about it. all the other tools you'll need are in any simple basic toolkit.
Dang, I got nuttin' in the way of metric. Thought I'd have at least some of what I need.
My socket set ends at 17mm and all the larger metric sockets I have are either too big or not deep.

According to the dirstructions I'll have to buy these sockets:
21mm
30mm (assuming deep from the reading the posts)
and a 27mm open end wrench.

I have lots of big *** hammers and vice grips.

Does the 1-1/2 combo wrench do the work of the 27mm?

Looks like its time to tool-up for metric.

when i did mine, i used standard wrenches/sockets and didnt strip anything, when going that big there is a differences but it's pretty slight, so if your going to use the big metric stuff again, i'd say go buy it, but if not make what you have work

Ford finally went 99% Metric with the 04+ models. I remember working on my 98 and it being 1/2 standard and 1/2 metric...stupid

pretty sure the 21mm = 1 1/16" standard

I used a 1 1/16" when I did mine...but my Autosprings install instructions called for the 1 1/16".

You need the 30mm deepwell socket for the nut side of the lower bolt for the coil-over. the big wrench is to hold the bolt steady.
