Fuel Filler Neck/Hose Issue

I have a 1992 F350 Lariat with a 460 with dual rear wheels. I was changing out the fuel pump and saw that I need to replace this piece. The inside hose is all cracked and falling apart and the outside hose is old and cracked.

After 2 hours trying to find one on the internet, I called some parts places and they don't even have them.

Here in my town there are 10 of these trucks alone and I figured this would be an easy part to find. Anybody know of some kind of mod or someplace to get the part?

So you think you're having trouble because the filler neck is for a dually, as in, they're more rare? I would think you can order a new fuel filler neck & hose online....? Shop around, prices vary greatly. LMC likely has them, but they are expensive. Oh, but I don't think LMC carries a lot of F350-specific parts. You might get lucky & find some good ones in a junkyard, but I wouldn't bet on it. Needs to be the same bed shape & size at least.

Have a look here: Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

The hoses are not too bad, but the filler necks are another story...

Do you need it for the midship tank? Or the rear tank?

I was able to find a hose for the rear tank. Rear Fuel Filler Hose

Thanks for the replys.

I didn't think that finding the hose for the rear tank would be an issue. There are TONS of these trucks around here. But I looked for hours online and the best I could find was filler neck/hose for the diesel, no gas. I even called parts stores and the only stuff I could get special order was the one for the diesel version.

There are a few websites that do just filler necks/hoses and all I could find there was the neck and center hose; they didn't even have the outer hose.

Everyone seems to have the single rear wheel version.

I ended up going to a local parts store hoping to improvise and all they had was outer gas hose at $30 a foot...which I decided not to buy.

Frustrated, I decided to see if the old hose would fit after trimming the bad end...it did, barely. Hopefully this is the last time I drop this tank for awhile, but in the meantime, I am going to find a hose that fits so I don't have to worry about it.

Thanks for the help guys.

The link in my previous post is the outer hose. And you said that you found one with the filler neck and inner hose?

Sounds like that's what you need.

Well, glad you made it work for now. My '94 Ranger has had a broken filler neck for years. I got the part at Napa with my sister-in-law's discount, it was still rather pricey. I haven't installed it yet due to laziness... And for fear that the fuel pump will quit right after I get it all back together....
