I've been running mine out of "adjustment" for 15 years now. No ill, no foul.
Just adjust speed to allow for faulty reading.

Speedo and shift points for tranny will be off a little. No biggie.

I would pick a middle of the road number and call it good.

You could swap out new psom/speedo with each set of tires if you don't mind the extra work and expense.

The psom is actually the electronic print board behind the speedo.

I think the speedo correctors you are refering to work with the mechanical speedos only.

Actually I am refering to the speedo correctors that plug into the OBD2 port and are made for the mid to late '90's trucks.

So I put 8-19.5 on a 1993 F Superduty an I'm having a head time figuring out what constant I should use so my speedo is correct the tires are cooper courser traction lt's they are 34-1/2 tall with the truck setting on them , the reason for putting these tires on is because the trucks got 5:13 gears from factory any help would be appreciated thanks

Just as a friendly note though, I'm not sure that using another vehicle as a base figure is all that accurate. You should go off of mileposts or speedometer check stations on the highway for the best accuracy.

Also, if you are referring to this article, you are using incorrect numbers in your above formula.

This is how your above formula SHOULD read:
32x3.14=100.48/12=8.37 5280/8.37=631x.0135=8.52

Once again, I'm only trying to be accurate, not argumentative.
