I agree with Ravenwood Ranch. We need to wake this group up a bit. How's everyone winter been. I lifted my 2012 F250 3 1/2 inches and installed 35" Nitto's on 20" Moto Metals this winter. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can. I really want to make it loud now and Roll some Coal outta that exhaust. There's a guy that drives past the house all the time and I can hear that turbo sing all the way down the road. I love these new diesels! Anyone else been working on their rigs?

It looks clean. I don't see any rust on it. It must be from the south. Do you have any future plans for it?

Actually, bought it in Grand Rapids, MI! Has a bit of rust, but nowhere near the rust a Michigan truck should have. There is a decal from AAA in Southern California on the rear bumper, perhaps?

I love off-roading but I don't do anything serious yet because I don't want to tear up my favorite truck. I plan on getting a bronco II sometime soon for an off-roading rig. Gonna put a 4in lift on my 350 soon but still not going to do anything but mudding with it because I love it too much haha.

Hey everyone

Josh
SE of Indy

After realizing my 3rd gen Exploder would never tow a camper, I'm now the proud owner of a 2000 Excursion V10 4x4 Limited with 177k on the clock.
(pics incoming).

Practically stole it at 5 grand. The previous owner hit a deer and the dealer assumed the damage would cost thousands. I love being able to fix my own stuff lol.

Am probably leaning towards a mild off road/camping/towing build. Gotta do some body work first.

How much camper are you towing? Mine is a 2006 with the EB and 4.6 V8 and it's rated to tow something ridiculous like 7700 lbs.

Of course a V10 will do an even BETTER job PLUS let you take more of your stuff...

I had the 4.0L so it was rated at 5900 I think. The IRS was the prob though, any tongue weight over a couple hundred pounds made it squat down to the point where the pumpkin almost bottomed out.

That was my excuse to shop lol. I've wanted an Ex since they came out so I was thrilled to find one so cheap. Only took 15 years to get one.

Welcome Emmie! My paternal grandparents lived in Walkerton. I've skied, fished and stayed right there on Koontz Lake! I grew up there. My grandparents have been gone now for 30 years but they had a house and a 2 bedroom cabin. Stayed there every summer growing up and loved it.
