Rattling Noise behind cab
I tried searching in the archives for this thread as I know i've seen it before. Sorry for bringing it up again but I couldnt find this in my search.
I've got a 2007 Reg. Cab 150 4x4 with about 45000 km's on it. For the last couple of months I hear a rattling noise from under the truck right behind the cab. I've crawled under it and had a look around but theres not much that could rattle in that part of the truck.
It rattles when I hit bumps.
I thought maybe it was an exhaust hanger or a cable banging against the cab but there is nothing under there.
Anyone else had something similiar happen?
Sorry for bringing up a post that was hear before.
Thanks for any pointers.

not really....it sounds like a cable rattling against the front of the box near the box/cab joint underneath. It only makes noise when hitting bumps or potholes.
I checked under the truck and all of the exhaust hangers are tight, the exhaust is tight, the spare tire is tight, I couldn't see or work loose any rocks in there, all cables passing through don't have enough sag in them to even reach the cab/box so i'm really puzzled.
I wish I could have found that thread on here because someone else had the exact same noises as mine and there were quite a few replies to it. Someone must have found a cause and fix.
I'll keep on lookin' i guess.
