I found a set of L&L Headers locally used.

i am concerned about where it says that a 6" lift is required on straight axle trucks.

I don't have a lift on my truck at the moment. Is it possible to put these headers on the truck?
I really want headers on my truck!

L&Ls are supposed to be really good headers but the 6" lift is a deal breaker for me. I'm going with Thorleys or Banks, depending on the deal I can find. I have a 2" leveling kit already and don't want to go any higher.

 

those headers are for the TIB/TTB trucks. L and L does sell them for your application with no lift.

 

Ok I just talked to the guy I would be getting them from. He says that they came out of the 460 conversion kit
it was the #4 kit

Ok I just got off the phone from L&L - the guy on the phone is saying that the 79760f will fit a stock non lifted F350 D60 front axle truck. That the 6" lift requirment is wrong.

HOWEVER he did say that the 79760A has a different flange than the 79760F and they would leak. darn
