lifeguard striker covers?
Hey thinks I,something to stop doors opening as you drive, what a great idea!
Got some.Looked at them.Scratched my head.Realised I'm a low grade moron,'cause for the life of me I can't figure which way to fit 'em or how they are supposed to work.
Anyone help a feeble minded kripple?Or should I just sell up and book into the rest home now?

I think that you need to be using the 1956 truck latch and strike plate with those. I read about them in the Mid Fifty parts catalog. Something about the the thickness of the star wheel being different between the '53-'55 and the '56. They fit at the bottom of strike plate, and are secured with the strike plate mounting screws.
