Anything catch your eye till unsure what colour I'm going to go for my 46 Mercury.

My Father's '41 Mercury Convertible was a cream, with a slight yellowish tinge..... colour, apparently a factory colour from that era.

It was a nice looking Merc. I've only seen pictures as he had it before I existed.

 

I have seen one around here that was blue with black fenders, and it looked real good!

 

Green with black fenders looks good.

 

A real dark wine or black cherry color would look nice, or a deep purple/blue color too.

 

I like the cream color idea with black fenders. You should be able to find some sort of program that lets you try different color combinations. If the interior color were to be along brown or beige colors, I would try the fenders dark brown.

I like the red and black myself.

If I was the one doing it, I actually really prefer the solid one color, but I know your partial to two colors.

if your in Saskatoon drop by autobody specielties were i work and i'll show you every factory car color since 1912ish or i got some trick stuff thats pretty darn good

 

I like the dark blue. I'm partial to a dark color and I have to agree on the dark wine or or black cherry. When we get around to doing the body work I am considering a black cherry paint with lots of chrome.
