Well I went to my local drag strip the other day and took a pic of my truck. Not only is my truck a mall crawler but a parking lot parker. I was going to flew out the suspension in the parkign ot but that would be to cliche. I personally think a mall crawler should be described as an unsafe lifted vehicle. Wheter it be 44 boggers on dana 44 or them custom made drag links.
I even managed to park within the lines of the parkign lot for you guys lol.

If you want to feel good about owning a $50K show truck, the guys in the SD forum are nicer about it. I still think "going after a look" is enough to qualify a mallcrawler.

The only reason that I posted on this thread was because soemwhere along the line a user commented that the mall crawlers are unsafe. I will agree that there are some Mall crawlers are unsafe and give lifted trucks a bad name. I believe that my truck and the other lifted superduty in this thread are perfectly safe. My truck is perfecty safe and even passed the NJ tilt test. No I dont need anyone to be nice to me about my truck. My truck is not a show truck nor cost anywhere near 50,000 dollars. It is my daily driver and well a fun vehicle to dive. I was trying to corret the common misconception that all lifted vehicles are unsafe mall crawlers; which is entirely untrue. Some are functional vehicles that are not purpose built per say but mulit purpose vehicles that excell in a various aspects. That is all I was trying to say; with a little ball bustin along the lines.

You're not in their market then anyways, and I doubt you would buy from them even if they offered what you needed. You don't sound like you're into bling. . .but more of a "I can do this myself with scrap steel, a welder, and a local junk yard"

And for the rest of you. . ."Mall Crawler" is a derogatory term the cheap rednecks came up with because they are jealous of yall's $50k blinged out SuperDuties

Sure cant, but they need to support the real sport here of actual off roading, flexing on mall curbs is bs.

But what your saying is if they offered chrome plated fender flares, color powder coated banana springs, or kuZtum "Z" bars in your price range you would buy them then?

Chrome fender flares, No thanks, Fender flares at all, no thanks, Powder coated bannan spring no thinks, powder coated springs, yes in black ONLY. Z bars?!?!?!? wtf are you kidding me, yea i would buy one!!! And use it to beat the dumb ****s who istalled them on there trucks.

Junkyards are like a toy store for me, even if i buy nothing, its just fun! I like bling, but my truck it aint worth it, i could drive a bling vehicle, my next project is just that actually either a 429 ranger, or an oil burner... 2wd of course... and no lifts.

And for the rest of you. . ."Mall Crawler" is a derogatory term the cheap rednecks came up with because they are jealous of yall's $50k blinged out SuperDuties

Jealous, nah not really, its not my cup of tea. Trucks dedicated just for show kinda sicken me, seems like there all big and jacked up and shiny, makes me wanna vomit. I drive a super duty.

*me runs away and hides*
Might be a good idea.

Amen brotha. I've got a $50K dollar truck, and you know what? I could have a dozen trucks like yall have. I choose to put it in my drag car and my tow rig. So the way I understand it is you guys logical thinking would mean that because my race car looks great that its not capable of performing well? WRONG. I have no problem with the term "mall crawler" but I dont agree that anything that looks good and has a touch of chrome is a mall crawler.

I truck can look nice and perform, but if its built more for looks and less for funtion, mall crawler... Think about this, someone that spends money on chrome this and chrome that and custom painting there truck. You REALLY think there gunna wheel it? PLEASE! Good for you and your race car. So tell me something honestly? Do you wheel your truck? O wait you already said you dont... So mall crawler, that simple. If you dont like it go back to the SD forum.

BWAAHAAAHAA

Don't be jealous that we don't need to be sold our lift kits in a purty little box with an instruction manual.

probably wise... I dont take kindly to being insulted... If you care to take this up privately, i dont mind send me a pm, but we dont need this on the boards...

For the record, i never was slamming your truck or calling it junk, its a mall crawler, face the facts... Can i say i blame you no, not many people like to build up brand new trucks and wheel them, that would get expensive quick. Its a nice truck, but not my cup of tea.
