I was thinking, if the H2 was an advertisement for a store or something along those lines, dont you think somewhere on that truck it would have the name of the store? I know if I built a truck to show off all my usless stuff, I would have a name on it.

lifted two wheel drives (not prerunners) also scream MALL CRAWLING
Really?
I take my truck down every rough road I can as long as I know someone can pull me out if needed. My truck is locked and will eat a little mud without any weight in the bed. I wouldn't call my lifted 4x2 a mall crawler. I have went off road in my buddy's Chebby 4x2, set up much the came way my truck is, and his truck did just fine.
A 4x4 will go five times as far as a 4x2, no doubt. This does not mean you can't have a little fun in a 4x2 if you know how to drive it. Besides; when you get stuck in a 4x2, it doesn't take much for a 4x4 to pull you out!
Do I have a mall crawler? F250, TTB, stock shiny rims, 33in Goodyear MT/R's. And the paint shines up like new! I really do take it offroad though. The open diff holds me back quite a bit. But at the age of 17, I really cant afford to make this thing the way I want it. Especially after just buying a new dirtbike.

Dude, what are you doing taking my truck off road!? I told you to keep it spotless!!!
I want your truck.

I wish I was so extreme I could go down rough roads with the comforting knowledge that somebody could pull me out. Those rough roads are so hard core after all

I know man. I don't like the dust that it kicks up.

Bill, I've always liked the flaresides so, you take his and I'll take yours.
Ronin, thanks your contribution. This thread wouldn't be right without your expert comments.
Ha ha, thanks for your support Carlene. I knew I was going to catch flack for that.
You can have my truck if he gives me his pickup!!
By the way, I wasn't talking about being "hardcore".. my point was merely if a 4x2 is set up right, it doesn't have to be pavement bound. I know what my buddy's 4x2 Chebby could go through, and it was very surprising.
Haha some people sure don't take kindly to 2wds offroadin huh, i think it's hilarious, than i just walk away when they get stuck
Are you saying you wouldn't pull out somebody just because they are driving a 4x2..? Maybe I missunderstood you. Reguardless, if someone needs pulled out of a tough spot with nobody else around..
Even 4x4's get stuck. It's just part of it. That's why you're supposed to take a buddy with you. It's all for fun man!
I'd eventually pull them out don't worry, im not a dick, im a nice guy, i had a buddy with a 4x4 and got stuck in about 2ft of snow on a hill...after about 4hrs i was still there diggin and helpin, it was rediculous and it just didn't wanna come out, and being on a hill, when i took my truck up to it ( i could back right up to him) i'd statt to pull than i'd dig in and get stuck plus the chain was tight so we were screwed!
But all in all, i've had some friends with 2wd's and i've been amazed at what some can go through, they just usally hit it with some more speed haha, i'd just walk away laughing at first than get my truck.

That's what friends are for. We're all be screwed if we didn't have people giving us a hand every not and then!

The key to two wheelin' is momentum.
Oh yes momentum is a big key haha, but i do have to laugh about some 2wds cuz some days if you just have street tires or small all terrains, you can get stuck on wet grass on a hill, i've done it before. But speaking about momentum, i want to build a plexiglass shield that would go under my entire front end (say 1/2in thick) so that when i hit a pond going 30mph or so, water wont get sucked up into anything, i think it'd be a good idea if you could modify and make it somehow...

When I had 11'' wide Performance GT's and a 3.08 open diff, that happened to me. It was actually mud, but still. I had to get pulled out by a chebby. I wasn't fooling around though.
Plexiglass? Well, what kind of off roading do you see? I wonder how Plexiglass would hold up to being underneath a truck?
It's not a bad idea, I'm just wondering how strong that stuff actually is.
