Floormats

Anyone ever replaced or purchased new floormats? When I bought the truck, it didnt come with any, but they definitely would be nice for my dirty shoes. Anyone know a place that sells the right size for the 2004 F150's?

I dont know if I can walk in a auto parts store and find the color and size I would need. But if so, someone please chime in! Thanks

Also is there a way to figure out the exact name that Ford calls the color of my carpet and interior?

Might also check the WeatherTech mats. Better quality than the factory ones, perfect fit and have the rolled edge to hold in the dirt. Come in factory colors too.

I have the Ford ones:

All-Weather Vinyl Floor Mats, Med. Dk. Flint
Part Number: 6L3Z-1813300-B
MSRP: $79.00

Available cheaper from the FTE sponsor parts sellers. Deep grooves catch the mud. They are designed to work with carpeted interiors, slice around a bit on the XL vinyl floor.

Good luck,

You might also check out Husky floor liners. Their line of molded floor liners are very deep, and contoured to fit the floor pans perfectly. From San Diego sand to Wyoming snow & mud, I have been exceedingly happy with how mine work. Happy enough that they have been in almost every truck that I have owned.

If you do a search on their site, you can get the part number(s) and find someplace online with a cheaper price.

Hank, I believe you have the set I'm looking for. Do you have an address to these FTE sponsor pages for me to order?

you should go with one of the aftermarket floor liner systems, they offer the best protection and are super easy to clean. The 3 main ones are from Husky, Nifty Extreme Catch-alls, and the Weathertech Floorliners. The Weathertech ones are the best IMO, but are expensive.

I personally have the Nifty's in my truck since 2004 and they are holding up great and my carpet still looks like new. I put the Weathertech Floorliner's in my wife's car and they are awesome. I will continue to buy Weathertechs for my future vehicles unless something better comes out...

Here is a picture of my Nifty Extreme Catch-alls:

Another vote for the Weathertech liners. I've got them in the front of my SuperCrew and love them.

Make sure to get the FloorLiners and not the regular rubber mats that they sell.

Ive never had a set of floor liners. What makes the liners so desirable? Do they keep dirt inside the mat or something?
