Fordomatic
Hello it is Anders from Sweden.
I wonder if anyone can help me, i am going to put a fordomatic in my F-100 -56 today it is a 3 speed manual. The thing i miss is the linkage with kick down and to the trottle.
Can i use one from other cars/ truck?
Is there anyone have a linkage for sale? if it is i pay the shipping to Sweden.

Ohhh, That I'm afraid will be tough to find. What type of motor are you running? Are you talking about the shift rod and you also need kick down rod. If your putting in the original style Fordomatic column shift they too are tough to find. They are similar to a three speed setup in many ways but have just one arm and a safety switch so you can't start in gear. Without knowing what you have you can probably make your own shift rod and kickdown rod. Let us know

Hi Anders!
I agree that is going to be a hard part to find, but if you had a picture, you could make one easily out of some 1/4 or 5/16 inch (about 6-7mm) round metal stock.
But also, I am going to attach a link to a man who is well know here in the states for his restorations of our trucks. He is Chuck at "Chucks Trucks" in Connecticut. He may know where to get one, or be able to make one for you. Please contact him at the e-mail on the web page.
Good Luck,
Julie
