Great forum!! Looking for advice on engine miss and 2 error codes

Its an 05 screw 5.4L reading 2 codes

P0308 #8 misfire detected
P0174 System to lean bank 2

2 problems I am looking for advice on
It just died the other morning and wouldnt start.. cranked fine but no go.. after about 10-15 mins I tried it and it fired to life. Airblock in fuel line? or something more sinister?

Also, spark plug change about 3 months ago.. still misses and runs a bit ruff
Could it be as simple as a bad cop.. Can I swap the cop from 8 to another, clear the codes and see if the problem moves to another cyl? or would I be better off looking at sensors somewhere??

Thanks for any advice as I am going to the mountains labor day weekend and would love to feel safe on the drive

I think you might have a injector acting up on the #8 cylinder.

Move the COP to another location and see if the misfire moves with it

The lean code, I'd check for vacuum leaks, and clean the MAF, change the fuel filter.

If the misfire stays in cylinder 8, sounds like a vacuum leak at the intake/injector, or a bad injector.
