What is with this crazy Aug. weather? We had 4 inches of rain last week over a 3 day period and now we have over 3 inches in the last 4 hours. Usually around here everything is turning brown for lack of water, but not this year. If it will ever quit raining, I need to mow grass. Oh well, at least I'm high and sort of dry on top of my hill, I don't have to worry about floating away.
Must be a south AR thing then, my Mother lives in Eudora, which is in the SE corner, and she has had over 15" of rain this month It can stop at any time here, but I don't think it's over yet.

They've been calling for it all day.....but barely a drop here today. Probably start about the time I get to work tonight.

Still waiting on TS Fay here. Hopefully it will never get here. We went from serious drought to more rain than I care to see. 11+ inches in July and more than 7 already this month. We had 5" in less than 72 hours in one stretch. Weather here is pretty much like Arkansas, which is home for us and hopefully where we'll be for GOOD by the end of October. Hot, humid and mosquitos.
