There's more lakes to explore with the new toy on South Pass though, so I'll probly spend most of my time there next year. Got a couple new hunting spots to check out, too!

Scouder, keep kickin' butt. Love to hear those stories.

Howdy to everyone else!
I always did like Shoshone, but it's a ways up there! I'm trying to think if I've ever been up to Bog Lakes.

Hey Scott, I see you have a Pittsburg pic in your sig. If you get a chance during the day, you should head to Nebraska's B/S thread, and help defend your fellow Steelers fan (cowboywanabe) from the Seahawks/Browns/Colts fans!

Pat, Bog Lakes is off of the Horse Creek road running north out of Dubois... Horse Creek and Double Cabin campgrounds are in that area. Good fishing for small rainbows and graylings out of Bog Lakes.

Go Steelers! On my way...

Cool... we split the B.S.

You're right it sure is purty country up there. Gotta be sure to pack a pistol though. I went on a hike up there a month ago, looking for Deacon Lake in the wilderness... finally figured out when I got back to the truck that a small black bear had been following me the whole time!

oh i see where it all started.. wasnt just a lone cowboy in wyoming wandering the plains of Nebraska looking to talk some football after all.... it was that chiefs fan (97nukeford) telling him to defend the Steelers from all these teams, but forgot to mention the CHIEFS!!

I'm on to you Pat!

I had the same problem. Nobody makes headers for a 76 F250 that have any primary size. Knowing that I was going to need 2 1/8 primaries into a 4" collector, I just bought a set of flanges, a pair of collectors, and a box of 2 1/8 bends and started fabbing. Like most things, I could do it better the second time, but I am very pleased with the way they turned out. I am not a welder, so I just tacked them together piece by piece with my little mig box and took them to a pro when I was done to do the finish welds. I would tack one piece, then hold up a bend, estimate where it needed cut, mark with a sharpie, and cut it with a chop saw. I have a nice sized box of mistakes, but it came together pretty quickly. Ultimately I think I had around $550 in them, and they were custom built for my application. Can't beat that with a stick.

Soooooo, if all else fails, put on your hot-rodder hat and do it the ol' fashioned way!
