Unhappy tie rod end blues

Hi all,

I was hoping to get some insight on what I could do to alleviate my tie rod end blues!!! I have been replacing tie rod ends once a year and its driving me nuts. The truck is a 94.5 F350 Crew, 5spd. Does anyone know of an "oversize applicaton" that would work with the existing front end? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and consideration.

That is very Strange. I still have my original ones on there from the factory. Do you buy a cheap brand? Maybe try a Ford part or I believe Moog is a good one. My rubber is splitting but I think I will just replace the rubber on mine.

What kind of driving do you do? Is the joint just wearing out?

Unhappy tie rod end blues!!

Thanks for responding. Primarily I drive on the highway but occasionally I go hunting and drive off road which is ususally no more than a idle around the woods. I guess I could try the ford brand. The last ones I put on were from Commerical Tire. Thanks for you input. Anyone else??

I don't really have anything to add other than I have been looking for a heavy duty type replacement also.

I agree with Neal Moog is the only way to go, last time I checked all the parts were over $500...Autozone ect. stuff just won't hold up.
