Uh.... I shouldn't be responding to this thread. I should just let it die.

THAT'S WHAT THE "POWERS THAT BE" WANT YOU TO DO....be excited about the "lower" price. Don't worry, the price will go up more than it was ($4.99/gal) then come back down to $4.20 a gallon and people will get all excited again. Then repeat sequence again until we're all happy at $25/gal.

It's still $3 a gallon too high.

Agreed.....if it were ever to get back to $2 bucks a gallon, I might start to get excited....but I'm not holding my breath....

Where are you in south Texas? My grandmother, who lives in Kleberg county, said that diesel got back under 4 dollars. Also last week when I was in Plano(Collin county) that I could get diesel there under 4 dollars. Which I know doesn't do you a whole lotta good, but it did me if that makes it any better.

i'm way south next to the border. my friend in houston told me it is $3.99 over there. I haven't seen that yet around here. $4.09 has been the best but this is a pretty high traffic area for big rigs. I am sure it will be there pretty quick, but it is still too damned expensive.

I agree with Cody now when it comes down some its all great. Funny how the oil comanies habve us brainwashed. An dont forget elections are coming up in less then 90 days. Fuel always goes down as the day draws near. Bet they go back up when the elections are over.

I agree on elections lowering the cost of fuel but agree depending on how they go it will determine how fast the cost goes back up. No question on it going backup just when and how fast.
