I agree...expectations were way too high...right now the kid figures that his warm up tosses are going to be hit out of the park. He needs to have his confidence built back up in order to succeed. The Saawx are sending him to Portland to work with the same pitching coach who had him for a full season in A ball and the partial season in AA before he was called up to the bigs last year. They figure that he knows Buchholz better than any one else and can get him back on track.

Sorry to hear that Chris...I guess the conservative course of treatment has been a bust. Does that mean that the next step involves incredibly sharp knife like instruments???

Sorry to hear that...
It sounds like they are more interested in getting money from your insurance than making you feel better..

There is a local retired doctor who now has a folk band that tours the area. One of their most popular songs is a statment about health care today. It's called "HMO NO"...sad but true.
With todays health care system...whether it's private pay HMO or the Workers Compensation system...doctors are rewarded for not performing tests and procedures. It's still probably the best system that exists.

Ken I am doing pretty good albiet a little tired today.
I had a 5:30 a.m.wake up call when my pager went off for a motor vehicle accident call with entrapment. Come to find out a guy took a newer Ford Explorer and somehow lost it on a curve (going too fast????) and the best that I can figure did at least 2 barrel rolls (side to side), hit a utility pole and landed in a ditch on the drivers side. Come to find out, his foot somehow was just pinned under the 'A' windshield / driver's door post. We just rolled it a little and he was able to get his foot out. Totaled the Explorer. His day went from bad to worse when the Troopers found a zip lock bag with about $1k in 10's and 20's. After the Explorer got flipped over, they found a zip lock with some green stuff in it that looked like leaves. Needless to say, he ended up getting a free ride to the police station.
BTW, he had no injuries at all. He was lucky in that aspect.
