low icp no start
02 model truck 300,000miles quit running a year ago, been sitting for a while got some good core inj. from work and put in truck. Got the oil pressure primed on the low side. the icp pressure finally got up to 119psi still no start. Assumed it was the hpop started taking it off and noticed the reservior was real low when i took the pump loose from the housing lost very little oil . so if there is no oil present would that give a low icp pressure reading? maybe the hpop is ok?

Truck definitely won't start on only 119 psi. I needs somewhere around 400 for start I think depending on OAT. Fill the resevoir up, and if you have replaced injectors you are going to have a lot of air in the oil rails so it will take a large amount of cranking to get it to build oil pressure. SO be sure your batteries are in good shape and hook them up to another truck for added power. Check to make sure the IPR(lower drivers side of HPOP) is connected and that the little jamnut hasn't come loose. Give us as much information on when it died to help us help you diagnose.

Timmy has given you good advice. Fill up the HPOP reservoir, charge the batteries and try again. I'd also dump a double dose of fuel additive in the tank if you've got old fuel in there. When you finally get it started look for lots of smoke and probably a rough idle until the air works it's way out of the rails.
If your reservoir stays full and you still end up with low ICP pressure after lots of cranking, try unplugging the ICP sensor. The PCM should assume a default reading and allow the truck to start if the sensor is the problem.

Since owning the truck it has always been hard to start from cold crank and crank then it would miss till the temp came up some and would run like a champ. then tuck went to nc and back to tn around a year ago and gave trouble all the way back would only do about 50 mph and missed very badly. Made it home truck sat a couple weeks got it started to take off trash went about 10 miles quit and hasnt ran since. Had no icp pressure i unpluged the icp sensor then still no icp pressure. Decided must have some blown orings for injectors, got a 20kmile set from work that came out of a core motor ive since installed them and tried cranking yesterday and finally got 119 psi. ive just about got the hpop pump off i hope its the problem

I don't know what else to say until you put the HPOP back on, fill it up and see what your ICP pressure (along with IPR % cycle) does. The low reservoir could easily have been your issue. You'll be looking for a min. of 500 psi at the ICP for the truck to start. The new injectors and o-rings may have solved your original slow starting issue.
