Reprogram PCM and cluster restest???

The latest to my very frustrating saga:

Went to Ford dealer last Friday and re-explained the situation and while filing out paper work the truck stalled. I was in drive, stopped with brake applied and front and rear ac's running. I had just hit the high beam lite switch to turn off high beams and it stalled. Prior to and after stalling I could hear and feel the truck sputtering.

The dealer called me Tuesday, Sept. 2 (after having all holiday weekend), stating that it is fixed no more stalling and no more CEL, ABS and OD lights. I then drove home about 15 minutes (about 6 miles), dropped off 2nd vehicle and then drove another 1/2 mile to vote. My wife and I finished voting in about 10 minutes and returned to the truck. I started the truck and was backing out of parking spot and could feel and heard the truck sputer, I then looked at the dash and the ABS light was on for a couple of seconds. At this point I do not think the issue was resolved and will be contacting the dealer again.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Did the dealer tell you what they fixed the first time?

I think they reprogrammed the PCM & reset the gauge cluster. Odd.

Wink Resolved

Sorry about the late post: The fix to my problem was to replace one of the coil packs.

Thanks for the follow up landk00.
It's funny how the oddest things can effect something you might never expect.
Glad you got it figured out.
