oxygen sensors, bank 1 or bank 2
I got a fault code of 153 on my 97 f150 4.6 V8, it's says the oxygen sensor on bank 2 is slow to operate. Does anybody know whether bank 1 and 2 or front and back or left and right. Can't find anything on it. There's one on each side before converter and one on each side after converter. I'm hoping it's the rear ones, don't seem to have much "umf" when pulling trailer and I think that's the problem.

oxygen sensors, bank 1 or bank 2
Bank one is always on the same side as no. 1 cylinder. Sensor one is always nearest the engine. On a Ford then O2 sensor listed as Bank one sensor one (B1S1) is on the right side nearest the engine. The ones after the converter are there for monitoring catalyist efficiency and usually don't cause a problem.
