Mud Truck Races-Tallulah- Sun Aug 24

Hey all,

We're gonna try it again, hopefully with better results.

Races are actually at the Richmond exit, about 1 mile east of Tallulah on I-20.
They usually start at 1:00 and run till about 7, depending on the number of trucks.

Ours dropped a lobe on the cam, so we pulled the engine and inspected. Have a new cam ordered, should be in Friday. Hope to be running mid next week and haul to the races that Sunday.

Hope some of ya'll can make it out.

Rained out Sunday. Next race in Baton Rouge. Have family there and we might pull down. I know there are more folks in that area--might try a get together. Let me know. Race date is Saturday, Sept. 6. Truck was running good--kinda let down that we couldn't race.

All the time. Now it looks like this hurricane will mess up the Baton Rouge race-----

Bummer--Baton Rouge races cancelled--Maybe this isn't our sport! Just kidding, we'll wait for the next one. I'm sure we can find some way to add or remove something before the next race. There is still some weight we can remove, this delay will give us some time. Hopefully next race in Minden, toward the end of Sept.
