Fog Light lens cracking
#16
If you haven't replaced your foglights yet, look @ lens protection film. Your cost will be a lot less and it will cover the cracks preventing any further damage. Most fogs can be done for around 6-10 bucks per light. Try looking for these at XPEL Head Light Protection

I like it....helps with the mileage....the wife has gotten 24mpg at 60 - 65mph......I drive it at 70 -75 and I get about 19-20mpg...touch 21 once in a while...but I like the 3:31. Works for my towing needs. Also had that same ratio in my last Expedition (02).

Ford is going to replace my fog lights!!!!!
Went to the Ford Dealer this morning to see the Service guys and they looked at my fog lights and are going to order 2 new lights and replace them. They had another Expedition come in this morning for service and I saw one of there lights was just like mine. So did the Service guy. So Great news!!!!

I might be able to shed a little "light" on this subject as I have experienced this problem in the past.
First, I do believe Ford will instruct that fog lights should only be used in foggy conditions and not all the time as some individuals like to do.
We have a 1995 Mustang that was purchased new. At first, I too liked to use the fog lights most of the time. But, we continually experienced either a cracked lens or a cracked bulb enclosure. I was told it was from the extreme heat buildup and advised not to use the fog lights except when needed.
Since replacing the cracked components (way back many moons ago), I have never again experienced a crack lens or enclosure. The reason is because I took their advice and only use the fog lights in foggy situations.
May not be what you wanted to hear, but Ford obvioulsy doesn't intend for these lights to be used continuously.
