Brake Drum Thickness Specs

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have (or remember right of the top of your head ) the measurements for thickness (the farthest you can surface the inside of the drums down to) on the front drums on the 51 F-1?

I found a couple on e-bay and want to have them turned. But the brake shops specs start at '53. And I can't find the numbers in any of my books. We don't want the shave them too thin.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Julie!

Should be stamped on the drum, perhaps on the edge as you look into the drum.

"max dia. 10.060" for example.
