Well okee-dokee...

We'uns is now a part of a greater whole.

I edited my forum veiw to show the southern region & the surounding states. Then looked at the updated selection regs. I also clicked on "join chapter" just to be sure. Oddly though, when I clicked on Steve B's link I got the "You're not authorized to veiw" message.

A question about recuitment, both site & chapter. What are the guide lines about using PMs. Also is it acceptable to make up some cards to hand out to Ford truck drivers you meet on the street or stick under a windsheid wiper encouraging them to visit FTE ?(& hopefully stick around long enough to qual for chapter membership)

Hope we can demonstrate that we really are the "Hospitality State".

If you go to the top of the Southern Regional forum, you'll find a couple of stickies - the chapter guidelines and the chapter leader guidelines . That's what I attempted to link to, but failed miserably.

If you run your mouse over "Forums" in the gray bar near the top of the sites home page, you will get a drop down menu. At the bottom of that menu, you will see "spotter cards". Click on that and you can print these out and use them for recruiting purposes.

The answers to your questions are YES & YES.

You can search the Members List for other MS members and invite them to join the chapter by PM or Email, if enabled. You can not use the PM or Email system to solicit sales or spam members.

FTE provides "Spotter Cards" which you can printout or edit for handing to prospective members. You can also design your own. http://images.ford-trucks.com/clipar...tters_card.pdf

You can find the above link in the top toolbar under Lists, Spotter Cards.

The Chapter and Chapter Leaders guidelines are stickies at the top of the General Chapter Discussion forum,,, http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum138/

Hey Guys, Welcome to the best group of guys & gals you could want to hang out with!

We just finished the weekend at Carlisle PA at the All Truck Nationals. George took a ton of pictures and next year (yes, the FTE will have a tent there for members again!) we'd sure like to see some of youse guys up here! This year New Hampshire took the trophy for the longest drive...next year it could be YOURS!

Don't hesitate to ask questions....

Joe

Welcome from your Louisiana neighbor. I don't know how I missed this. I guess I have been working too much. I need to catch up on my FTE.

I will be glad to help any way that I can.

Hey MS members, time to increase YOUR state participation.

Click on the "Membership List" in the toolbar above, sort the list by your state and send some invitations to other MS members to join the chapter.

I guess we need some sort of message. How bout:

Greetings fellow Mississippian:

If you might be interested in developing a felowship of ford truck enthusiasts in the Magnolia State, then joins us in FTE's newest chapter. Follow this link and click join.

Help us grow.

Also I guess in order to make it more relevent we should limit the mailing to individuals who have had activity, in what? the last 10-30 days?

I'm open to suggestions.
