First of all - KUDOS to all the contestants in this show. You can see the pride and dedication expressed in all of the rides that took part in this weeks long extraveganza. Big trucks, smaller trucks, new trucks, vintage trucks, the fascination is the same.
A lot of imagination, tons of faith, and a whole pile of cash went into every single one of the finalists here. They're one of a kind.
Now we come down to the shootout stage-
The poll is a single vote, annonymous, time-limited (three weeks) one, this time with no links except to the original thread but with a page number reference next to the entries where pictures are found in the thread since there may be several.
- 'May the best truck win' doesn't really say it all, because they're ALL amazing...
I really love the '41, why didn't it get more votes???
I liked that one a whole lot too - I don't see too many thirties or forties trucks, and they definitely have a special place in my heart.
All the finalists got either three or even four votes to put them into the top ten. I suppose the small number of voters for the top tens had a lot to do with it, I still expected the spread of points to be a lot wider than it was but there it was come monday morning...
I'm sure there will be other contests like these. I don't know when - but we've broken the ground for a lot of things to happen in the future.
I don't know if I personally am going to spin up another one, at least not for a while. I'd like to let it ride for a time and see what all comes of it. Jake00 - if you want to take over the center ring and the 'tophat' be my guest!
I truly think the overall level of interest in the "SHOWS" that I dreamed up and hacked together so far have a lot of potential, but I've been the pipes, drums, and bugle corps for these for a while now. Comes a time when seeds sprout or they don't, if you see what I mean. I'm well satisfied with it all, I can be happy that I intruduced a new thing.
Matter of fact I take a great deal of pride in it all.

I voted for Jason Lewis' 96 F150 Lightning clone. It's a very nice truck, and he did a great job on all of the modifications to make it look just like a real Lightning.
There's so much to like about all of these that it isn't even funny. I wish there had been a way to make it two or three choices but not more than that...

so i just want to say thank you to Greywolf for always doing this....BUT just a FYI Greywolf the page numbers only work when someone has the same number of posts per page as you.....like for me i have 40 posts per page so the thread was only 3 pages long, we might want to think about saying what post number it is not what page it is on...you know just to help out some of us that get confused quickly.....But again GREAT job!!!

Thinking the Government stimulus plan is working is like thinking that taking water form the deep end of a pool and dumping it in the shallow end will raise the water level of the pool.
