[quote=Greywolf;6503692]I guess that clinches it - congratulations are in order to B/B ford, who will be recieving the One Year Membership for first place. Congrats also to dawgs 150, bigearl1369, and all the other finalists. They really have some honest to God stunning wheels and then some...
I wish there could be more prizes, but then again I guess Ken Payne has all the bumper stickers and hats he could possibly want!
(His Rousch 150 truck has made it into the top ten at least twice now)
If B/B ford would like to tell us a bit more about his definitely show stopping machine that would be great. I wonder if it was something that just happened, or whether it was planned from day one to be that truck and nothing else.
In either case, happy Labor Day!
I was bitten by the "Classic Truck bug" about 10 years ago while helping my son build a 57 chevy truck.(his choice my money) I wanted one of my own and I have loved the old ford trucks since my high school days.
I bought mine as a basket case 9 years ago and started dismantling everything. My intentions were to build a Sharp! daily driver, but I,m sure most of you know, one thing leads to another and before I knew it my truck was evolving into a "clean streetrod" for weekends only.
I did much of the work myself but had to farm out a lot also. Such as, body, paint, upholstery, and engine build.
I started driving it on the street 2 years ago and I am still doing things to improve it.(are they ever done?)
All I can say now is "I love my truck!"
and Thank You all!
