so i just want to say thank you to Greywolf for always doing this....BUT just a FYI Greywolf the page numbers only work when someone has the same number of posts per page as you.....like for me i have 40 posts per page so the thread was only 3 pages long, we might want to think about saying what post number it is not what page it is on...you know just to help out some of us that get confused quickly.....But again GREAT job!!!

It looks like something I long awaited is beginning to happen.
I just fielded a PM from "FRED" about this, and need to track down the winners of the last (what was it, THREE?) contests - because the year Membership/Extension is also being awarded to the previous contest winners as well!!!
What I can see on an initial search is that we did in fact run three contests before this. What gets hazy is that the VERY FIRST ORIGINAL ONE was spur of the moment, and evolved without even a thread title as such ("Why don't we have a PICTURE CONTEST").
And then look what happened (I'm quoting Ozzy Osbourne, come to think of it)...
I can't find the finals of that one, it was right about december of 2007.
NEXT we popped the cap on the Christmas and New Years 2007 contest - which ran into february if I remember halfway right.
THEN came the OFFROAD and FOUR BY FOUR contest....
That pretty much brings us up to date.
WHAT I NEED TO FIND is the poll threads for each one of those - and I can't remember the exact titles of those threads!
WAIT A MINUTE....
Didn't we have a work truck and daily driver one?
Somewhere in march of 08 we had the finals for the daily drivers and work trucks. Who won?

i didnt see one when i was looking throught Greywolfs 2262 threads he has started, so i dont really think that there was a finals....but i will look again.

In with the other "Lessons Learned" about this - I didn't put links back and forth in obvious places for all three parts of each one. Each contest had a main thread, a top ten pick (semi-final), and a final poll of the ten trucks that made it through all of the top ten picks.
The reason being - polls are limited to ten options total, so for the final match there had to be no more than ten finalists.
What needs to be is somewhere near the end of each thread there should be a note linking it on to the next part.
Now we're here... At the final POLL thread. If I had kept it consistently updated like this it might have been a lot easier. From this point on they WILL be cross-linked
