Y-Block F-100 Aluminum Valve Covers

Hey, you guys seen these F-100 valve covers on EBay. Pretty nice looking, can't say I have ever seen any like them before. Little rich for my blood (and I don't have a F-100) but if your looking for something different for your Effie these would be nice.

Mike, you have to check these out.

They look pretty cool! It would be nice to know who, when and where they were made. Too bad they didnt say Ford 1/2 ton. If they did I would be in the thick of it.

Mike, not really into the truck terminology but isn't a F-100 a 1/2 ton or is yours a F-1?

I do have a F-150 Screw tho.

The F designation didnt start until the advent of the F-1, F-2, F-3... in 1948. Before then it was just 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 2 ton etc. FTE still hasnt apparently figured that out, because when they ask for model in the galleries, F1 or F100 are the only choices. I think the F100 and up began in 1953.

I know the owners of an aluminum foundry back in the midwest. It would be nice to buy them and send them off to be reproduced! They may go for 500 or more. But that is for someone else to do.
