Electric Fuel Pump

On any Ford Diesel I have ever had I have bypassed the manual fuel pump and went electric, normally robbing an electric off a 99 up Powerstroke. What would it take to do this on a 97 Powerstroke, as I have never owned an electronic engine before. Is it even possible, I am really scared of that manual pump way down in the V of the engine, if it was to go out which I've seen happen and blow fuel everywhere, i would like an alternative option.

Ask and you shall receive. He is a nice write up for you on electric pumps. Scroll down to the bottom of the page past the intercooler infomation.

Tims I/C Page example

There are a couple kits out there, but you can do it yourself much cheaper if you have the time to find all the hardware.
