That is soooo cool! I was wondering what it looked like and that video was right on the spot! I wonder what they were doing to the engine (more than an air filter I hope!). I guess that is one of those things where you don't want to forget to tighten or install that one thing!

A lot of people make such a big deal about taking the cab off but I think its a great way to get to everything. I bet the techs love it as well, and I want a happy tech working on my truck.
Well biz, from all the techs I've heard from, its quicker to lift the cab then pull them motor, so once its out of warranty then you'll be saving money on labour by having the cab come off

I agree. It is nice to see that FORD designed the '08 that way...and was able to see ahead. Still doesn't change the fact that these new diesels are so complicated...and the average "home" mechanic will not be able to work on these engines. Or at least not very easily.
