I have had enough. I have lost power about once per week for the last six weeks.
I know I could be a lot worse and it seems trivial complaining about the weather but my career depends on the weather and professionally I am starting to suffer.
Anybody else want to sound off?

You've had it worse than most...seems like Hampshire county has been hit the hardest...especially the past few weeks. Not much you can do about it...just roll with the punches!!!

I dont mind the rain so much... Where I came from we only got 3 to 4 inches a year...
Now winter is a different story... My first winter living in a place that gets more than 1 inch of snow every few years and its a record breaking year... My poor little 2 door 4 banger was sliding all over the road... After so much snow falls my car starts to drive on top of the snow and it starts slidding everywhere... LOL...
I love the snow but I am not looking forward to another winter like last winter...

To tell you a bit about my situation....I am the superintendent at Crestview County Club in Agawam. The course is low lying and the soil is heavy clay. I never seen water stand on a slope but I have this year. We have been belted every day. Since June 1st we have received more than 17" of rain.
The quality of product I give to my members has really suffered this year.
I joke about snow......at this point I welcome it. My crew and I have had just about enough. How many time can you put Humpty Dumpty back together again.....we do it every morning.

Mike...I hear the same story from some of the guys up here who take care of courses. They're all sick of the rain.
At the Meadows...the river has partially flooded the course...depositing river silt on the 9th green...not an easy thing to take care of...as you are all too well aware of. The course always floods in the spring...very rarely this late in the season.
Keep the faith...it has to get better!!!
